The images themselves are (largely) not new, but the resolution is, and you can now see the graphical differences between Online and Offline modes. The game is set to release on Christmas day in Japan.

                                                          
Japanese magazine Gemaga held an interview with Tetsuya Nomura, concerning the FNC titles, and Nomura gave a few small new details about the games;

- Final Fantasy XIII - The battle system will be shown before the end of the year

- Final Fantasy XIII - Blu-ray is a huge advantage for the development, and because of this, uploading to the Blu-ray disc is faster

- Final Fantasy XIII - There are no plans to reveal information on the voice acting cast at the moment. (Following lots of rumors)

- Final Fantasy Agito XIII - The battle screens show in Famitsu and various other magazines isn't representative of how it will be at release, the images shown show three characters in the battle, but as development progresses, this number will increase.

- Final Fantasy Versus XIII - The 'Goddess Etro' featured in the conversation between Stella and Noct is not featured in the Amano painting of the same scene (Following speculation)

While it certainly lacks originality in it's rather bland name, it makes up for that with it's vibrant anime style. The game is developed by Korean developer Blue Side, and the english script from these screens suggests it's got a guaranteed western release.

EA has announced that a demo of the highly anticipated game Mirror's Edge will hit the PSN tomorrow (and XBL the day after)
The demo will feature the prologue of the game, a tutorial, and a segment of the games single player.
If you pre-order the game, you'll also be able to unlock the game's Time Trial mode, where you'll be able to race against other players.

Namco Bandai  has released a new video of Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam VS Gundam for the PSP, this  game will be out on November 20 in Japan!

Gungho Online Entertainment has released the first video of Ragnarok Online for the Nintendo DS. -Wifi-play for up to 3 players at once will be available. This game is due for release on December 18 in Japan!

I'd like to just quickly bring together the information we've been given of the past couple of weeks (since TGS) for the Final Fantasy XIII games (otherwise known as Fabula Nova Crystalis) there's been some information while i've been away so i'd like to just put it all together here for convenience!

The translations are not my own, but   BlankChocobo of FinalFantasy-XIII.net, who took the time to translate the recent magazine appearances of the games.

A Gamespot interview with the games director reveals this information today, just hours before TGS begins.

Q:When is this game being released, and on what platforms?
A: It is being released in the fall of 2009 on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

The Story Part and Live Part are seamless and a Town Square is mentioned. Speculation here, but my guess is when you enter a city, you get transferred to a server or what not. Up to 16 avatars (players) can be in any given Town Square. From there, you can party up with up to 4 players to go questing and what not. Items can also be traded between players, though details aren't available yet.

'Namco Bandai has invited us to its Pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference tomorrow in its building office in Tokyo. What's exciting about this event is that 'secret and exclusive revealing titles' are scheduled, according to the invitation. UPDATE: Tekken 6 : Bloodline Rebellion is confirmed for a PS3 release, with more content than it's arcade sister. The event is currently under an embargo, hence why so little news has been released so far.

Shown just last week on Japanese television (TV Tokyo) , Square Enix gave viewers a glimpse of Final Fantasy XIII being developed using Crystal Tools.
The detail is outstanding for an incomplete render, it seems this game will truly be something to behold.

SCE Japan producer Takeshi Kajii described the game to Famitsu as a spiritual successor to King's Field, the From-developed first-person RPG that first hit it big on the original PlayStation. "I am a fan of From Software, but naturally that also means there are parts of their games I'm not satisfied with, too," he said. "If this was a new King's Field game, there would be areas we wouldn't be able to touch since they're part of the series; working together like this, we can try to make something really new."

Demon's Souls takes place in the kingdom of Boletaria, currently enshrouded in a deep fog thanks to its king inadvertently unleashing an ancient monster from his slumber. You, a nameless hero who you're free to customize Elder Scrolls-style, must penetrate into Boletaria and save the kingdom -- but like many US RPGs these days, the game is slated to be extremely open-ended. "You get only the barest minimum of a goal, and there's nothing forcing you to do anything in the game," Kajii said. "People say to you 'Save the world,' but you can ignore them and keep going if you like."

The way Kajii and From Software director Hidetaka Miyazaki described it, Demon's Souls is a bit of a hybrid -- an RPG that uses the PS3's hardware to the hilt while still retaining the challenge and exploration of traditional role-players. Your hero can use a wide variety of weapons, each of which has different attacks and animations depending on how skillful you are or whether you're using one hand or two, and the game's physics system places natural limits on what's possible in any given tactical situation. "We gave a lot of thought to how to make the fun and charms of a classic RPG interesting all over again with the latest technology at hand," Miyazaki noted. "We figured that doing the things that previous hardware ignored -- having long weapons bump into walls, lighting the area in realtime with the torch in your hand -- would make the game that much more fun. We're taking the things you did through menus in Wizardry and letting you carry them out in real life." (Miyazaki also hinted that while Demon's Souls won't have multiplayer, he would still like to "find a way to use the Internet to make the single-player mode more interesting.
